John McKinney, publisher, founded Olympus Press in 1985. Beginning with a mission of publishing “Great Guides to the Great Outdoors” the company did just that, and has since expanded to producing top quality books and publications in other genres.

Cheri Rae, editor, brings a keen literary eye, sophisticated sensibility and aesthetic approach to each client’s unique project. Before joining Olympus Press, Cheri was an award-winning magazine editor with popular lifestyle magazines including Runner's World, Surfer, California Scenic, Santa Barbara and Bicycle Sport.
